Interesting how Fox was the only network to instantly claim it was "obviously, uh, suicide, uh, attack" from terrorists without having any proof whatsoever, whereas the other networks simply suggested that it may have been an intentional attack without injecting a paranoid bias.

That's why the news before the 9/11 coverage starts is so light and fluffy ("Love Cruise", Backstreet Boys, etc). FOX affiliates are always less serious than other network affiliates.
There coverage of the actual 9/11 events isn't too bad. I've seen worse.

The fox archive on sept. 11 was altered. Anyone remember the ''nose out shot'' This shot was aired only once live and they banned it from all tv archives because it was showing a too controversial crash to deal with by the time. On this shot, available on youtube, you can clearly see the nose coming out INTACT on the other side of the building along with a digital ''fade to black'' on the precise moment of impact...
Before the 2nd plane crash, the anchor said ''you can see a live shot from our chopper arriving at the scene'' then BOOM! This is where they replaced the shot... Why?

Miranda and Izzy, I feel sorry for you both. And embarrassed. Having witnessed the second plane in flight and its subsequent collision with the South Tower from the helix of the Lincoln Tunnel on that day, and then entering Manhattan on a bus that was among the last vehicles allowed into NYC at approx. 9:10am on 9/11/01, AND not being related to anyone in media (sorry Izzy)...I assure you, the impacts were real, they were planes flown deliberately into each building, people perished. My cousin, firefighter Denis Germain, perished. Conspiracy theories and media coverage aside, the collisions and deaths were real. Sorry to ruin your fantasy.

If you look at who owns the major news sources, it is really just a few corporations, which are also defense contractors (ie: G.E.). They profitted wildly from 9-11. Look at the CEO's of CNN, MSNBC, etc...and you will see they are former Pentagon, CIA, etc...The anchors were watching 9-11's events on a tv, not live, just saying what they were told to. A plane would hit the side of the tower then fall down, not sail right through it. Many witnesses who saw planes were related to media people (it has been researched) and staged, many who saw it were shocked to hear there was a plane.

These clips are fake? Were you watching live that morning? You really believe all the networks were playing staged video? And the people who saw it on the streets of NY -- mass hypnosis? Forget the meds, you must have serious brain damage. I don't think even LSD could create hallucinations like you're experiencing.

What a great job by the affiliate station in New York. Coverage was better than a few of the network broadcasts and rivaled coverage seen on CNN and NBC.

Just compare both plane attack reporting on FOX compared to some of the other networks. Fox anchors had an immediate broad view and scope of the situation (terrorist) where other networks had their hands in their pockets.....or possible elsewhere. ;o)
Bryan Gumbel's reporting was pathetically poor and without "reporter sense". You have to listen to his handling of eyewitnesses as it all hit the fan.
